The client needed to optimize the cleaning of its coffee extraction lines to make the process more efficient, controlled and fully automated. 

To ensure thorough and simultaneous cleaning, it was essential to have a skid that could clean multiple components at the same time.

  • 3 x 3000 litre tanks for storing cleaning and rinsing solutions.
  • 27 automatic valves with C-TOP for precise control of the process.
  • 3 x 4 kW discharge pumps and 4 x 3 kW return pumps, ensuring a optimal flow for efficient cleaning.
  • 2 tubular heat exchangers for heating, with steam lines to keep the cleaning solutions at the required temperatures.
  • 1 distribution manifold to automatically direct the cleaning towards different parts of the plant.
  • Automation and control system based on Siemens PLC with a 12” HMI screen, capable of managing customized cleaning programs.
